After seeing the Sixth Sense, could you watch another M Night movie and not expect a twist? If someone told you the truth about Tyler Durden, could you watch Fight Club the same way?
I think we're touching on one of the more interesting points about the purpose of this blog though, or at least the current game we're playing for it: When you (re)visit a game that's a few years old, that made an impression on the gaming world and also maybe pop culture overall, that was popular enough to spawn two sequels and make Ken Levine's name recognizable, it's impossible to wipe away all conceptions of the game.
Maybe if you asked nicely. "Hey Joker, would you kindly forget about everything you know of BioShock before playing?" I bet that would work...
and if not, there's nothing wrong with playing through the game anyway. It's as much about the journey as it is about the destination, i think.
