The Last of Us: shaddap

Joker,  I have absolutely no doubt that 10 years from now, when you're uber excited about "The Last of Us 4: Infinite: GOTY edition" and all of its time bending and lame partner nonsense, we'll get you to finally play one more good game again.  I mean, it wouldn't be the first time it's happened.

(For context: Joker refused to play Bioshock for over a year despite my initial suggestion that he play it before Infinite's release, and later my constant nagging that it was a MUCH MUCH better game than Infinite. I'd hoped that he might have a more fully formed view of Bioshock Infinite if he played it's vastly superior spiritual predecessor; a fully formed view which I am still excited to discuss at some point soon.)

But yes, to your point on TLOU: there's a character who you never meet in the game called Ish; you get a vague idea of his personality (and he seems extremely likable) from these notes he leaves around sewers.

Forums suggest that most fans were hoping that the DLC might focus on Ish and expand on the world of TLOU without touching Joel and Ellie's story. Or alternatively from Tommy's viewpoint, providing a better understanding of the Fireflies because it's clear that there's some shit there, specifically why Tommy decided to leave the Fireflies after joining them.  Or just something brand new.

These ideas could have been similar to the GTA4 DLC in that they may have potentially intersected with the main characters' quest, but would not have tarnished or improved it in any way.
